The Air Taxi Association (ATXA) leadership team’s strict focus on the next-generation air taxi marketplace is supported by a remarkable breadth of experience. In addition to the leadership team, ATXA also partners with a large group of industry experts in order to provide the best services possible. The depth of our knowledge comes from our air taxi company founding members. Their business experience in operations and technical acumen of the leading air taxi operators shape the Air Taxi Association’s policies and standards.

Joe Leader, President
As an expert in next generation air taxis and technology, Joe Leader worked with leading CEOs across the United States and Europe forming the Air Taxi Association (ATXA). Leader brings with him over a dozen years of successful leadership experience at companies ranging from entrepreneurial to multi-billion dollar corporations. He is an expert in channels of distribution and effective market strategies for rapid growth.
For his education, Leader conducted his BA and MA at Emory University in Atlanta before attaining his Masters of Business Administration / Technology Management. After years of work, Leader is on the final revision of his doctorial work at Walden University conducting his research alongside tremendous change in the aviation industry. This year, Leader will formally complete his business Ph.D. in Applied Management and Organizational Change.
Bruce Holmes, Chairman
Dr. Bruce Holmes, DayJet Director of Aeronautical Research, serves as the ATXA Chairman of the Board. Described as a father of the air taxi industry, Holmes served as a research pioneer at NASA for over 30 years where he led the strategy development for the Langley Research Center investments of $700 million and over 4000 people.
Holmes has received several awards from NASA and other technical societies and has to his credit 75 research papers alongside four patents. In his 39 years of pilot experience, Holmes operated as flight instructor, charter pilot, commuter airline pilot, flight testing pilot, crop duster, and is also type-rated on the Cessna Citation Jet.

Chad Bishop, Director of Marketing and Communications
Chad Bishop has over 10 years of experience creating innovative and successful advertising, brand marketing, and marketing communications campaigns for Fortune 500 companies. Chad earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida and attended Georgia State University law school. He brings a wealth of knowledge, perspective, and functional area expertise garnered from the travel, finance, and retail industries.
Most recently, Chad was responsible for developing international internal and external communications for the senior leadership team of a Fortune 20 corporation.

Kevin Eastburn, Member Services Manager
As Member Services Manager, Kevin Eastburn is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships between the Air Taxi Association, municipalities, airports, and fixed base operator affiliates. For nearly a decade Kevin has worked in the airline industry as a professional pilot. He holds the FAA Commercial Single and Multi-Engine Instrument Ratings as well as the Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
With 5,000 hours of total flight time, Kevin has experience flying a variety of aircraft in both general aviation and commercial aviation. His experience brings a wealth of technical knowledge and first-hand expertise in the aviation sector to the Air Taxi Association. Prior to his aviation career, Kevin received a Bachelor of Science degree from Emory University.

Adam Westin, Product Marketing Manager
As Product Marketing Manager, Adam Westin is responsible for written communication of the products, collateral, and product brand image of the Air Taxi Association in both the Americas and Europe. Having studied in France, Peru, and England, Adam brings a wealth of international insight to ATXA. Adam earned bachelors' degrees in Advertising and French from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and spent a year in England for post-graduate studies in Creative Advertising. He draws from experience in copywriting for traditional and interactive media as well as work in search engine marketing and search engine optimization.

John Moates, Marketing Specialist
As Marketing Specialist, John Moates is responsible for writing press releases, designing marketing materials, and addressing press inquiries in both the Americas and Europe. Attending the University of Georgia, John first attained a Bachelor of Music and then immediately continued on with a master's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. During his master's degree program, John conducted an internship at a leading air taxi operator that is a founding member of the Air Taxi Association.
Rhiannon Loomis, Member Services Specialist
As Member Services Specialist, Rhiannon Loomis is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships between the Air Taxi Association and air taxi industry companies, affiliates, airports, and supporting companies. Rhiannon was referred to the Air Taxi Association by one of the nation's leading air taxi operators. In her work, Rhiannon has written key portions of air taxi company business plans and proposals, researched air taxis models worldwide and has conducted detailed support analysis for members. Prior to entering the aviation industry, Rhiannon had previously worked in public relations and conducted detailed studies in France. Rhiannon holds a bachelors degree in communications from nationally-recognized Oglethorpe University in Atlanta.
