Officials Tout "Air Taxi" Possibilities

Very light jet manufacturer Eclipse Aviation unveiled its taxpayer-financed $8 million service center at Albany International Airport on Wednesday.

Albuquerque, N.M.-based Eclipse first began work on the facility, its third in the nation, in October 2005 with the help of a $1.5 million state grant secured by state Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno, R-Brunswick, $100,000 from the Empire State Development Corporation and the rest from the Albany County Airport Authority.
